Founded by Guy in 2012, ASK Building and Repairs supports local businesses, homeowners and landlords in improving and restoring their properties. We will never regard a job as being ‘too small’ and always prioritise providing a friendly, professional service.
Derby born and bred, Guy spent many years working in finance before taking the leap to work for himself. Since then, he has project-managed construction work on various buildings and grow the services offered by ASK to include brickwork, roofing, plumbing, decorating, plastering and general repairs. He is always at the end of the phone if you have any questions and is happy to come and look at your property if you would like you to discuss your query in more detail.
We understand that letting contractors into your property can sometimes feel daunting and that you need to feel comfortable with whoever works on your home. ASK only employs reputable contractors who treat customers and their premises respectfully. If you choose us for any building and repair work you need, we’ll keep in regular contact with you, so you’re constantly updated and know what’s happening.
Although many of our customers hire our services directly, we also have great experience in arranging construction or repair work as part of your insurance policy.
If you need to make a claim for the damage to your home or premises, we can liaise with your insurance company on your behalf and manage the repairs to help free up your time.
